On the Cutting Board – March

March was a busy month here on the cutting board!  I finished up the winter round of the 4×5 modern bee, with wonderful results!  I think everyone liked the blocks I made them, and I got some really cool blocks in return.  I’m also continuing to work on my Lucky Stars BOM from 2013, and picking up some other 12.5 inch blocks from different sources as I find them.  The purple block is for the Stash Bee.

  1. Rainbow star block!! I love it – and all the blue ones, too. Everything looks lovely (and my you’ve been busy, Heather!) but those are my favorite colors ; )

    • Thank you! I’m just happy anytime I get time to sew, my daughter isn’t a huge fan of it yet 🙂

  4. All the blocks are incredible but the first block, 2013 Lucky Stars BOM, actually spoke to me. It said “make me”. I love your use of colour.

    • Thank you so much! I really like the Lucky Stars patterns. Had I actually done these last year like I intended to, I would have definitely signed up for the series this year, because she has some really amazing stars in this year’s series.
